Nickie Alvernaz – Front-Desk Administrative Assistant

With a lifelong passion for serving others, Nickie Alvernaz brings warmth, professionalism, and a people-first approach to her role as Front-Desk Administrative Assistant at RLJ Financial Services, Inc. Though new to the financial industry, Nickie’s extensive background in education and athletics—having served as a Bible teacher at Modesto Christian High School and a trainer/coach with the Turlock Sports Program—has shaped her into a skilled communicator who thrives on building meaningful connections.

Nickie holds a Master of Arts in Theology from Fresno Pacific University, a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Agriculture Communication from California Polytechnic State University, and an Associate of Arts in University Studies from Merced Community College.

Raised in the agricultural community of Livingston, California, Nickie developed her early professional instincts helping answer phones for her family’s farm. Today, she continues to draw from that foundation a strong work ethic and sincere interest in learning clients’ stories, backgrounds, and experiences.

Nickie is the eldest of nine children and still resides in Livingston, where she enjoys working out, reading, traveling, yard work, and spending time with the people she loves. Whether in her professional or personal life, she is happiest when helping people.
