What to Expect When You Work with RLJ Financial Services, Inc.
Our team uses an 8-step process to complete your tax return:
Step 1: Complete our Initial Signature Pages
You’ll review, sign, and date the documents enclosed in your tax organizer packet and return in the envelope included or scan & upload digitally.
Step 2: Complete your pricing package selection
- Electronic Option (our preferred method)
- Paper Option (included with paper tax organizer)
Step 3:
Fill out your interactive questionnaire. This questionnaire should only take 15-20 minutes to fill out.
Step 4:
Fill out your paper organizer. You’ll fill out our paper tax organizer or let us know if you would like a pdf version to complete instead.
Step 5:
Send us your tax document. You’ll drop off/mail or upload your tax documents to our office prior to your tax appointment, sending all your tax documents at one time.
Step 6:
RLJ Team prepares your returns. Our team will meet with you during your appointment or contact you via phone or video recording to review your tax results. Once completed, our team will email you a signature request form.
Step 7:
Sign E-file authorization forms. You’ll check your email(s) for a signature request from our team. Both taxpayer and spouse must sign, and payment is expected prior to electronically filing your tax returns.
Step 8:
RLJ Team will electronically file your tax returns with the IRS and upload a PDF copy for you.
